Two ways in, no API key required for the first:

Sign in (recommended) — brew install anthropics/tap/ant, then ant auth login. Stores an OAuth profile this app picks up automatically.
API key — put ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=… in app/.env.local.

Restart the dev server either way, then press Test.

Plaid (direct)not set

Not set, and you probably don't need it — use Fungible on the Import page instead. It owns the Plaid connection so your secret never lands in this app.

Income sources

Whose deposits the app may plan on

Money arriving is not the same as money to come. Everything in the ledger counts toward what a month earned; only payers named here count toward what the planner expects to arrive. That is what keeps a Zelle from a friend out of next month's budget.

No payer is named yet

Until one is, the planner falls back to your projected annual figure rather than planning on deposits it cannot vouch for.

Data

Everything lives in app/data/finance.db

Resetting deletes every account, transaction and budget, leaving an empty ledger with just the default categories and rules. There's no undo.

Sample data is invented — made-up people, banks and amounts — for trying the app out. It replaces whatever is in the ledger, so don't load it over your own imports.
